We introduce the notion of mode-desirability of a gamble, that generalizes the idea of non-negativeness of the mode of a random variable. The lower and upper previsions induced by this new definition coincide with the minimum and maximum values of the set of modes of a gamble, when the credal set is a singleton, but they only bound them in the general case. The reason why the minimum and the maximum of the set of modes can not be written, in general, by means of a pair of lower and upper previsions is discussed.
